Allergy Friendly
We are a gluten free, peanut free and corn syrup free facility. We only use organic trans-fat free oils, and we do not add corn starch or corn meal to any of our mixes.
(Some of our baked goods are baked with conventional aluminum and gluten free baking powder, which does contain corn starch, so if you are extremely sensitive, please ask.)

We have several products that are dairy free as we realize about 70% of the gluten sensitive population are also sensitive to casein. However the majority of our cookies are made with organic butter because the butter is very beneficial (turns out the French were right all along). There can be nutritional value to reintroducing butter even in a casein free diet, since the casein in butter is minimal. Plus, it is delicious. But that decision is up to you. Our standard cake base is always dairy free as are our brownies.

Allergy Aware
We can bake almost everything that we make with agave nectar, which is an unprocessed natural sugar from the agave plant that has 1/3 the glycemic index of cane sugar. It is very well tolerated by diabetics and other people who have sensitivities to cane or beet sugar. We always bake our seeded sandwich bread and several of our cookies with agave but if you are interested in cakes or pies that are baked with agave please call us and we can make them especially for you.

We are very aware of allergies and cross contamination potentials. If you are allergic to soy, dairy, nuts, or any other food group, please let us know of your special need while you are placing any order. While we are peanut free, we do have tree nuts in this facility. We make every effort to avoid cross contamination through sound operational and sanitation practices but given the volatility of nuts, we cannot guarantee a completely nut free product. Those who are severely reactive to tree nuts or other potential airborne allergens should avoid our foods.
